April 5: Local Civilian Training on How to Respond to Trafficking

April 5: Local Civilian Training on How to Respond to Trafficking

Just wanting to make sure my Minnesota readers are aware of an event coming up this Saturday.

Each day, hundreds of women and girls are bought and sold in the sex trade of the Twin Cities. Have you ever wondered what you, an ordinary civilian, can actually do about it? Have you been in a situation where you suspected something was wrong, but you didn’t know how to respond?

World Wide Village, The Human Trafficking Coalition and Women At Risk International are hosting a Civilian First Responder Training on Saturday, April 5. Civilian First Responder (CFR) Training will equip you with the skills to spot human trafficking and to know how and when to take action.

What: Civilian First Responder Training
When: April 5th from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Where: Christ Church International at 3015 13th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 5540
